Paxton Haywood:  Destin High School Football – 2024 TE/DE dominates NUC All-American Game taking home MVP honors !!!

Paxton Haywood, is a senior at Destin High School in Destin, Florida. The 2024 do it all player recently took part in the NUC All-American Game.  Haywood who is ranked as a 4 star talent in the class of 2024.

The 6-4 230 pounder has been tabbed a top TE by NUC and didn’t disappoint when placed against some of the top tier talent across the country.  He showed off tremendous power and strength, punishing opposing defenders and making tackles and imposing his will on every snap.  Paxton is tough to bring down alone, always getting an extra yard or two to finish plays.  He possesses the rare ability to be both quick and strong giving him the edge on every play.  He has excellent instincts, always making the right cut or taking the necessary angle needed to break off long runs.  

Haywood did a little bit of everything in the game.  He accounted for 4 catches for 36 yards and a TD.  He also was key in creating blocks that ultimately resulted in 2 touchdowns being created for his team.  Defensively he made his presence known from multiple positions with numerous tackles and a fumble recovery that he took the opposite way for a Touchdown! 

The 2024 athlete is a natural competitor, who also is a member of his varsity lacrosse team.  Paxton possesses many attributes that correlate to playing at the next level, one of them being the natural athleticism displayed in the game.  His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future, his high character and likability is through the roof.  Players want to be around him, his effort and hard work sets a tone that any locker room would be happy to invite in !!!!
