Quinton Solomon: Blythewood High School Football – Record Setting RB earns NUC MVP honors at All-American Game !!!

Quinton Solomon, a senior at Blythewood High School in Blythewood, South Carolina has recently been celebrated for his football excellence. The RB recently participated in the NUC All-American Game in Savannah, Georgia earning himself overall MVP honors.  He put on a show including an NUC record 99 yard Touchdown run !!!

The 5-10” 175 pounder displayed his natural athleticism on multiple plays.  Carrying the ball 8 times for 138 yards including his record setting 99 yard Touchdown run.  The run really took the atmosphere of the game into a different stratosphere!  The willingness to compete is a key attribute at the next level, and playing multiple sports displays that.  Quinton is one of those multiple sport guys participating in both Lacrosse and Boxing to go with Football at some in South Carolina.  The athleticism along quick feet allowed him to run by opposing defenders.

Solomon played on both sides of the ball for his Blythewood Bengal High School football team this season.  He lined up offensively mainly as a Running Back but also displayed his defensive back skills on the defensive side of the ball!   Character is usually defined by one’s actions and actions speak louder than words, his actions display exactly who this young man is. A high character kid with drive and passion for a sport he loves and ultimately doing whatever it takes to help his team win.

His senior year statistics speak for themselves with 68 carries averaging 7.43 yards a carry to go along with 19 catches, amassing over 700 all purpose yards to go along with 10 Touchdowns.  The 2024 prospect went as a 5a-Region 3 All Region performer while also being named to the I20 Palmetto Classic All Star Team.  Each facet just adds to the overall mystic that is the Senior RB’s Legacy.

The all around Athlete is starting to see some of the top college football and lacrosse programs in the country showing interest.  His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. He currently has numerous campus invites as well as college camp invites coming later in the spring.

Quinton will play at the next level.  The sport however is his choice, with opportunities to play either football or lacrosse in college on the table.  The one thing is for sure, this NUC MVP is going to help any school on and off the field to success.
