Angelo Stallone: Monsignor Farrell Football: 2027 LB named NUC All NorthEast Elite Prospect Camp LB MVP !!!
Angelo Stallone, a 2027 at Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island, New York recently attended NUC’s All NorthEast Elite Prospect Camp and earned himself MVP honors. The prospect camp put on display some of the tri-state’s top football playing talent from middle school through high school. Players participated in NFL Combine like drills, agility work, individual positional skills, and one on one competition periods. Collectively, Stallone is no rookie when it comes to NUC events, he earned himself an MVP award most recently in February 2024 at NUC’s Winterfest, in which he turned heads and has put himself in great position moving forward.
Stallone, a 2027 prospect, had another fantastic day dominating all phases of the event. He ran better times, improving across the board on all of his numbers. He dropped his 40 yard dash from a 5.03 in February to a 4.99. He took his shuttle from a 4.69 down to a 4.2 which was the fastest of the day, and had a broad jump of 8.2”. In the competition phase he played fast and physical, winning the majority of his reps. Stallone has played both sides of the ball at Farrell, offensively as a FB and defensively as a LB, excelling at both.
In terms of physical ability, he stands at 5.11” 175 pounds. His quickness and footwork are the two main attributes that separate him from others. The LB position requires a lot of skills. Strength and power are two of the biggest and Angelo has both. He used both skills to press and jam opponents at the line of scrimmage allowing him to win multiple reps. His great foot and hand work, when it came to placement on his strike, really threw offensive guys off their game, allowing him to win the majority of the snaps he participated in. Stallone used his athleticism to harass and frustrate WR’s in their routes throwing off the timing with their QB’s. His angles in coverage were precise with very little extra movement allowing him to close the gap when needed!
Angelo Stallone will be a name to remember as he continues to grow and develop. The foundation he is setting for himself by playing multiple positions allows him the opportunity to get on the field sooner than later. This guy is a pleasure to be around, he possesses that passion and drive that top level guys have, I look for him to be an impactful player for whatever program he plays for!
