Terry Welch – Lamar County – GA – 2024 – OLB/DB/ATH named NUC All-American Game MVP !!!

Terry Welch:  Lamar County High School Football – 2024 OLB/DB/ATH makes his presence felt at NUC All-American Game taking home MVP honors !!!

Terry Welch, is a senior at Lamar County High School in Barnsville, Georgia. The 2024 athlete recently took part in the NUC All-American Game in Savannah, Georgia.

The 6-0 165 pound missile had spectators in awe.  He showed off tremendous power and strength, punishing opposing offensive players and making tackles all over the field.  Welch, although slightly undersized for his position, plays bigger than the numbers show.  He possesses the rare ability to be both quick and strong giving him the ability to run by blockers or straight through them.  He has excellent instincts, creating great leverage and hand placement, putting himself in the best position to win on every snap.

Welch, a 2024 prospect, played at Lamar county high school this past season.  He earned himself a first team all region selection for his play on the defensive side of the ball.

The NUC All-American Game is hosted annually over winter break for most High Schools.  The game is made up of student athletes from all over the country who practice together with coaches and players that are gathered from across the nation. It allows players the opportunity to go and compete against some of the top talent across the nation while gaining more exposure on a national level!
