Kyle Dow, a Freshman at Brick Memorial High School in Brick, New Jersey recently took home MVP hardware for his football performance at NUC Sports/Boardwalk Beasts 7v7 Football club workout.

Dow, a 2027 Prospect, the freshman accounted for 26 TD’s and over 1300 yards passing during the 2023 season and showed his ability at the workout.  He had a fantastic day at the Boardwalk Beasts 7v7 Tryout dominating his competition hitting on majority of his throws.  A rare 3 sport guy, as he partakes in both basketball and track for his Brick Memorial Mustangs, his athleticism was evident during the agility station portion of the day.  He immediately displayed the ability to change direction.  Participants went through a variety of drills to display their overall agility ability.  He displayed quickness and solid lateral movement.

Kyle immediately made it known that he was there to make a statement.   He took snaps both in shotgun as well as coming away from center and made throws on the run to both his right and left.  Dow lit up the one on one period, completing 3 step and 5 step passes to a multitude of WR’s.

In terms of physical ability, at 6-1’ 170 pounds and only a freshman, he has the ability to use his length.  He displayed great QB knowledge and leadership, explaining to WR’s where he was going to put the ball on certain routes.  QB play is a lot about your mentality and command of not only the offense but the huddle, Dow took control, even dropping some knowledge on the younger participants.

Kyle has a ton of potential to grow both mentally and physically. He came into the work out with a no nonsense approach and did everything his coaches asked.  He displayed excellent leadership skills and as a QB that might be in the argument for the most important attribute. I look for him to continue to mature and get better throughout this entire spring !!
