Freshman season highlights 26 total touchdowns 24 passing 1321 passing yards 2 defensive pick sixes
Kyle Dow, a 2027 QB at Brick Memorial High School in Brick, New Jersey recently attended NUC’s Winterfest Prospect Showcase and turned in an excellent football performance. He stood out among the over 50 student athletes in attendance, and really showcased his skills on a multitude of levels.
Dow had a big day, dominating his competition. The soon to be sophomore quarterback put on display his arm talent and strength, firing passing to WRs in tight widows. At 6.1” 165 lbs, he utilized his solid frame to add velocity and speed on his throws, allowing him to fit footballs into tough, tight windows.
Kyle presented himself as a natural leader. He took control of his group and motivated other athletes in attendance. The 2027 prospect is no stranger to this event as he is now a two time MVP winner having taken home the award last year!
He displayed great football IQ and knowledge, talking with coaches and other players about alignments, adjustments, with a high level of attention to detail. A natural athlete he also plays basketball and runs track for his high school.
In terms of physical ability, he had excellent footwork as a QB, with great body posture allowing him to keep his body pointed downfield at his targets. Dow displayed excellent eye discipline, making his reads and moving from target to target keeping his eyes where they needed to be in order to deliver a catchable football. Kyle also separated himself from other players coming in with an “all business” type of attitude and mindset.
Dow brings that big time competitive edge to the game. A guy who communicates and relates to his teammates on a high level. He sets a standard that college coaches are looking for. His ability to understand X’s and O’s and lead his team will only continue to benefit him as he grows. I look for this guy to be a big asset to whatever Program he chooses!!!
