Justin Kimutai:Paterson Eastside High School Football : 2025 named OL MVP at the NUC’s Winterfest Prospect Showcase !!!
Justin Kimutai, a member of the Paterson Eastside High School football team in Paterson, New Jersey recently participated in an early off-season showcase presented by NUC Sports in which he put his talents on display earning himself the OL MVP award.
Kimutai, a Junior at the Paterson high school, had a fantastic day dominating his competition in both drill and competition periods. He displayed great strength and power throughout the entire session. The 2025 prospect showed great athleticism for a guy his size during the agility portion of the day. He displayed his ability to change direction and had great overall agility skills. Participants went through a variety of drills to display their overall agility ability as well as speed. Justin exhibited quickness and solid lateral movement throughout the agility station period of the workout.
Justin turned heads with fantastic footwork and technique in position specific drills, especially for a 6.3” 290 pound high school junior. His footwork was smooth and sharp, and his feet were fast and technically sound. He displayed very little head movement while keeping his balance on each rep. He had excellent kickback initial footwork on the snap.
In terms of physical ability, he has a fast first step, allowing him to fire off the ball and get into defenders before they can get to him. You could tell his football knowledge and IQ are above average in terms of overall understanding of the game itself.
Kimutai will compete against some of the best talent in the state as he moves into his senior campaign. His potential to grow both mentally and physically are extremely high. His body and mind will continue to mature and develop. The one thing that separates him from others is the fact that he is a true competitor and will continue to work hard to improve.
