Julio Perez Jr.:  Dalton High School Football – 2027 RB/LB makes presence felt at the NUC All-American Game, earning MVP Honors !!!

Julio Perez Jr., is a member of the Dalton High School football team located in Dalton, Georgia. The 2027 athletic RB/LB recently competed in the NUC All-American Game in Savannah, Georgia and was Named MVP as one of the best overall players at the event.

Perez, a 2027 prospect, just completed his freshman season at Dalton High School and currently holds a 3.8 GPA.  He is looking to continue his playing career after high school  at the collegiate level.

The 6 ft 205 pound RB/LB showed off his talent throughout the week.  He played both sides of the ball lining up offensively as a RB and defensively as a LB.  He played with great physicality, finishing runs and exploding through holes created by the offensive line.  Julio displayed great vision and cutting ability on his carries.  He showcased his ability to play multiple positions and have a high impact at each.  He also had a desire to compete and get better, an attribute that separates players at the higher levels.

What was your favorite part of playing in the NUC All-American Game?

“My favorite part of the game was the teamwork and effort put in, we had good leadership and never quit!”

How do you feel participating in the NUC All-American Game will help you in your future football endeavors?

 “It gave me more reps at RB to help me learn how to play the position better!”

Why should younger players like yourself play in the NUC All-American Game?

“It’s a great way to get more exposure to see just how far their talent can take them and its will let them know exactly what they need to work on”

The NUC All-American Game is hosted annually over winter break for most High Schools.  The game is made up of student athletes from all over the country who practice together with coaches and players that are gathered from across the nation. It allows players the opportunity to go and compete against some of the top talent across the nation while gaining more exposure on a national level.
