Jared Curtis: Nashville Christian School Football – Newest 5 Star QB continues to Improve and Sharpen Skills !!!
Jared Curtis, a 2026 prospect at Nashville Christian High School in Tennessee, has recently been lauded for his football excellence. The Georgia commit recently earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.
Curtis was originally a Running Back but made the switch to under center in middle school. He has been playing football since he was a young child, and attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up. Jared started seriously training once he entered high school and really started to gain recognition as he and his body continued to grow and mature.
Curtis has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to shine through once he made the position switch. During this time, he proved himself to be a team leader and a reliable asset on the field. He was often the guy you wanted to have the ball when his team was in need of a big play.
In terms of physical ability, Jared is a natural athlete. He has great feet allowing him to have a solid base when stepping into his throws. Additionally, his arm strength and accuracy are top-notch, allowing him to throw a very catchable ball. His football IQ from a QB perspective is surprisingly high for a guy that is so young, not just in terms of age, but overall time spent playing actual QB. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.
Curtis is now recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. He is a hard verbal commit to the University of Georgia, but still has offers from Washington, UCLA, Florida, Texas, TCU, Colorado, Oregon, and Louisville among others.
As a freshman, Curtis was runner-up for Mr. Football Tennessee accounting for over 2,700 yards passing. Jared followed that up with 2,500 yards passing for 25 td’s as well as rushing for over 540 yards and 13 td’s on the ground.
Off the field, the 2026 QB is a leader both in the locker room and in the community. He is a mentor to the younger players and a role model for aspiring student athletes. He is also involved in a number of community outreach programs, and works hard to ensure a bright future for the communities he serves.
