Hello this is coach human Uh coming to you from my home i want to Tell you a little bit more about The national underclassmen football Combine events And how they're going to be structured For this year in 2010 We're continuing to add greater things Uh to our events A lot of athletes have asked for uh some More one-on-one time period which we're Going to add in Uh we're going to boost it up from 25 Minutes to 35 minutes uh this year to Get more athletes an opportunity to show Themselves From a football skill standpoint in Addition we're going to have On friday we're now going to have not Just our normal combine preparation to Help you get ready for the event for Anyone Who wants to learn how to test properly But we're also going to have position Skill preparation so we're going to go Over Some of the skills required for the Combine from the football portion Some of the individual period skills uh And then some of the 101 skills to make Sure at each position that you're Prepared And then finally we're moving our All-american recruiting seminar
From sunday to friday night to be able To bring in ncsa to talk about Uh some in-depth stuff with respect to Recruiting Uh when you can visit when you can't Visit when you can talk to college Coaches Uh when you can when you should register For the ncaa clearinghouse And then also we're obviously going to Talk to you as well uh About the whole combine process uh some Of the things that go on how to prepare Yourself Uh mentally physically for your season Uh for the combines and then for the Recruiting process Then of course saturday morning we'll Have in most locations we'll have the Eighth and ninth graders come out and Test And compete in the football skills Portion and then we'll have At in the afternoon we'll have the Sophomores competing And then the next day we'll have the Juniors at 1pm Uh competing against just juniors the Other thing that we're adding as well is In In at least 20 locations we'll have Kicking punting and Long snapping courtesy of one on one Kicking
And coach mckay who has informed me that He will be at The vast majority of those events this Year to make sure we get the evaluation From a kicking standpoint As tight as possible so those are some Of the things that that are coming to You This year from the national Underclassmen combine uh Events uh we're also obviously gonna Have our ultima 100's and our top Prospect camp Those all went phenomenally well and we Expect over a thousand kids from the Class of 2010 To receive division 1a 1 double a Scholarships which is an increase of 100 Over our 2009 class once again we look Forward to seeing you If uh watching again on the fall and tv And reading about your newspapers and Then 2010 At our events if you haven't register as Soon as possible with Nationalclassroom.com 2010 events most of them are up already And make sure you set your profile up at Nuc football.com Also you can check out my personal blog At davidshewman.com You can see some of the updates that i Have some of the athletes that i'll Feature
