Recruit Especially a lot of these players that We've worked with that are on the verge That are very close And some have already gotten offered Like carson kruger i know we talked About it last week um and guys are Really starting to gain a ton of Traction especially in the classmen we Encourage you the younger you are the Better it is for you to start early Okay we we don't mind obviously we're Trying to help a lot of the players that Are later on in this process because a Lot of them have come to us uh from that Standpoint But believe me if you're younger the Earlier we get started the better will Be for you Well if this was available you know five Years ago those guys coming to us late Wouldn't Probably have to um you know we just did A Quarterback from washington state who's You know to me fcs level Um i agree It but The weird part is you know you start off Obviously wanting to be power five or Fbs but sometimes you fall off that Radar but then sometimes you fall Straight to the d3 level and the fcs Schools don't

You know pay attention to you um you can Fall that far So now that he's been put out there he's Back to the fcs level and he's getting Attention the video is doing well um and We do you know this is one time he chose The one time his dad did Um And we read you know i retweet that Numerous times but you know The one time i'll help and then we were Learning that the three you know the six Months and after the third or the second Time you start to get more traction and You know but yeah i'm finding a lot of Kids that are 20 23s that are just you know saying Is it too late and i'm honest with them Say it might be i don't know But the only way to find out is to make An investment at this point in time and See if you can get the because like i Said to somebody yesterday i was talking About the affiliate program for someone Yesterday which is you know an Opportunity for You know coaches who work with kids Everybody's got you know from from Southwest I mean From from southeast express To You know Ground zero to all the seven on seven

Teams that deal with four and five stars They still have kids on their roster That are being under recruited every Seven on seven team has them and and They're playing with those kids and Holding their own but yet they may have You know a small group of five offer or An fcs offer and they can't blow up so i Was talking to somebody the other day And it's like You put out a video of a kid in California you don't know if some Coach Uh from wofford He's going to see it And he's going to reach out to you Because they're looking for your Particular skill set maybe your 5 965 Lot receiver you're not fast enough for Usc ucla or san diego state and the Others but you're perfect for what they Want to do They'll find you your social media is That way and they'll start following you And they might dm you reach out to you And it just takes one Because once you get one Then the rest sort of snowball so You know i think what we're going to do Is the the younger kids Are going to get this exposure early and Not have as much of an issue You know the 2026 we just did a 2026 Running back linebacker from california

Fired or resigned um and every source That i've talked to Um has Confirmed to me what happened You know he was in a players meeting he Grabbed an ipad of a player because the Player wasn't paying detention uh and he Read aloud what was so important that The kid was typing to not pay attention To you know the meeting And he shouldn't have done that and once Second he got to uh a very very Bad slanderous Insensitive word he should have just Stopped But he read it out loud it wasn't his Word it wasn't his writing but it Doesn't matter Um he apologized but it got up to the Administration there's a statement i Don't know if people can read that it's Pretty small i don't even know well yeah Yeah but But it got up to the administration and The administration you know is Completely different than the athletic Department in the football Locker room um the players and this is Why i come up you know if the players Said listen This isn't this isn't right this is Wrong he should be fired I wouldn't Say boo because it really depends on how

They determine and and take This You know so somebody said you you make Money off the backs of these kids for All your career and you're insensitive To their feelings no their feelings are And they've come out on social media Saying so that this is a good guy uh This is a coach that shouldn't have been Fired or forced to resign uh he made a Mistake we'd like to keep him And players at his former schools are Saying the same thing so And not just former schools but schools Other schools like They're picturing what if my coach did This and i lost my coach Um so i think oklahoma made a very very Big mistake here and again what i don't Understand is joe mixon punched a girl On video years ago Um he was suspended for a year and came Back to play uh you know gandhi does This And his career at oklahoma is over Um I just think there should be some sort Of You know apology which he did do And some sort of understanding of the Situation and then a feeling of how it Affects the team and the players Rather than just going up to some guy in A suit up in administration who says

This is going to be bad for us you know The the The the five percent loud people looking To be outraged are going to be outraged And we're going to lose boosters and all This stuff it's just a bad decision I have a couple thoughts on it and and Um I i'm glad you brought you made me aware Of it before it went on today First of all Uh Quickly address the joe mixon thing To me That's becomes the coaches decision Shows you the support the coaches had For a player because that was the Coaching staff that decided we're going To keep joe mixon on staff right This is a step up i'm they may have Consulted with you know they had to yeah Bob stoops bob stoops is not bro Bob stoops ran oklahoma right it went up And he and they let him make mistakes Right There was a punishment but the kid was Allowed to come back and now you know Joe mixon has gone on to be a successful Nfl player his career could have been Ruined and that's much more egregious to Me um Than reading someone else's text but go Ahead Yes so um

I think that shows how The pla the coaches support their Players and that's my main point on that Because they could have easily Been done with him there right so that And he and he's part of that staff and He was part of that staff as well so That to me is a situation where Um You already know obviously that the Coaching staff is very supportive of the Players to begin with So His statement Um two things on it i don't think he he In if exactly what you mentioned Happened happened Then i don't think he should have been Fired for that Uh he made an error like again he Shouldn't have made that ever Um i don't think he should be fire Firebat i think the players in support Of him Is a huge indicator of how much they Believe in him and trust him and know That he has their back so i think that's A big part of it the second thing is to Me And this this has nothing to do with the Decision But How someone doesn't understand that You're not going to read that

That word Okay Is mind-boggling to me so That is mind-boggling to me and i've Coached for a long time And and been around the players Administration That that is just Any person Would understand that has any level of Intellectual capability That that is a no-no right so He could have read right up to that Point said there's a word here that Everybody knows that we shouldn't say That's the next statement and then read The rest of it right if you're trying to Make a point and my and my only issue is That He knows darn well That He Just because he got emotional and was Upset about something that was going on That Um that that's a no-no so that's my only Thing i don't think he should have been Fired i think he made a mistake i think It was um Uh um You know since the players are so Supportive of them it tells me that Obviously he cares a lot about them they He they care about him those things all

Are true The one thing that i would say it's just It's just That's just so stupid to me that is so Stupid that someone in today's day and Age at that level of position Um Wouldn't know that that that's gonna Come back to haunt you i mean you do a Lot less as far as like you know i don't Know you berate a player Some reporter is writing about you right So you got to know that That's going to be an issue and Obviously ultimately I think that part of it played into him Resigning But i don't think he should have put Himself in that position Having said that is a fireable offense I don't think it's a fireable offense If the players felt that this was him Purely reading you know it and not not True which it sounds like it is the case But yeah my that's why i have two sides On that like that's to me is just You know um It's just dumb i mean You know i i don't know that someone Should be fired for really being dumb But that's really just dumb Yeah it's very dumb and and you know it Had the players come out So first of all a lot of people

Suspiciously said this this can't be the First incident you know this is the Tipping point or something like that so I dug into that a little bit and you Know the players coming out in support Of this Speech The opposite this isn't the tipping Point this isn't something that's been Happening over and over again and he did It again and now we're tired of it Um So you know to me The understanding is it was a one-off And i i get what you're saying and i It's just when you're and i'm not Defending him but i'm saying what i've Read things out loud that i haven't Written Right when i'm angry and emotional And when i'm angry and emotional i'm Reading it I'm reading it and i'm plowing through It Without any perspective as to what it Says You know almost like oh so this is so Important this is what you had to text Blah blah blah blah blah and then read It verbatim and then Right after you make the mistake you're Like oh You know sometimes you go pat now mostly When you're reading stuff

Aloud you see what's coming Right but there are circumstances where You're very emotional and you don't see What's coming there's no excuse for it He's apologized for it for sure And the players are the key here the Players are the keys i think the players Yeah if they weren't coming out in Support of him then i would say okay He's got to go get rid of him because There's more to this but I see oklahoma's got a big decision to Make here because you know everybody Talks about the woke community and Cancer and culture and all this stuff You make one mistake and you're gone and You just there's no forgiveness so There's no Apology there's nothing Oklahoma has a real decision to make Here because boosters Players former players people who know Him people who are very tied into the uh The oklahoma football culture Want him retained So now these administrators that made This decision in a vacuum Because they're not football people and They're not athletic or department People Uh yeah to be fair To be fair and and i I mean i've been an entrepreneur for a Million years i'm very anti

This is i'm completely anti-cancer Culture completely anti this woke stuff Um To be fair from an administrator Standpoint this is put on your plate and You just see this from the surface i Think you have to I think that's what you're saying They're gonna have to dig a little bit More on this because Um Because they just see it and i think What happens is They their first their first thought Goes exactly where you said oh my god Everybody's going to be all over us this Is going like without knowing anything And then they may think the thing that i Said Okay Which i Would not penalize someone on that Capacity but i am not an administrator So i don't you know understand really Kind of the depths of what they have to Deal with on that standpoint but They may have looked at it like that is Just So stupid I mean so stupid like do we even want to Deal with You now As a player you play for this guy and He's been around a long time and he's

Helped us so many players be successful Heisman trophy winners his quarterback Room was unbelievable like so you know He was a great player It's You you know that he cares about his Players so It's it's just like it's kind of like One of those mind-boggling things like I i I wouldn't fire somebody for it unless There was something else behind you know Behind it Um because of the fact that i would i Would say hey let's talk to the players It was this a one-off thing blah blah Blah and was he really just reading it Uh and if that was the case then it Wouldn't be fireable The other thing though is just man like You gotta be that that's just dumb i Mean i i i it's so dumb It's so i don't believe he's racist i Don't believe any of those things Okay i i do i know him to know no but I'm just saying i don't believe that Just just seeing How long he's been around how many Players he's been around how you know How many players support him But i say how could someone that is that Wildly successful and people do it all The time Just do something so stupid that's just

Stupid and Someone should not lose their job for Being stupid But it's it's um It's it's crazy i mean as an Administrator a person who is Administrator i can tell you this if it Came across my desk okay If it came across my desk someone worked For me That was uh done at a camp I would go and talk to the people that Were there Right and say what you know or on my Team talk to the players and say What was the context of everything and Then make my decision on it i would have A long conversation with that person and Say That is so stupid like you know if we do Forgive you and decide and you you Decide you want to come back like I i i question How smart you are To be in such a high position making Millions of dollars Okay and they have controlling the lives Of players that's my only thing And i am anti-war culture i i've said This before i hate the fact that we want To cancel somebody but i would want to Talk to them about um You know uh the the thought process that Would go into that

And i'm sure they did i mean there's no Way that they made this decision without Discussing this with him Um and and you know i could i could Picture i've been in Corporate meetings before not about this Of course but about other things where You know someone will say wow you Shouldn't have done this you shouldn't Have done that and this goes all the way Back to working at an insurance company Yeah i was in like in my 20s and you Know human resources will pull you in And say listen you know we found this uh Fantasy football You know Thing on your computer What are you doing Are you running fantasy football instead Of working uh why is this on your work Computer blah blah blah and And then they tell you it's stupid don't Have it on there do that at home Whatever do it on your lunch on your Separate computer And then you wait for them to tell you What they're gonna do okay so this time We're gonna let it go next time you're Gone or we're gonna suspend you or we're Gonna fire you whatever so i've been on The other side of those meetings so i'm Sure he was Told all these things i i don't know About the word stupid being used these

Are administrators who think they're you Know very Cultured and smart and Most of them aren't Great but i but i don't think a true Like real investigation was done based On the players outrage because i don't Think they talk to the people in the Room i don't think they talk to the Players i don't think they talk to i Think they talk to him I think they talk to venables And they said that we have a zero Tolerance Policy here and he's got to go So i don't think they dug in and and i Think this is gonna play out Interestingly because they're gonna have To dig in a little bit and they might Dig in and stick with this that you know This just isn't What we accept and we're taking a no Tolerance policy towards this regardless Of you know what the players think Um i don't think i think they made a Rash decision and a quick decision and They think that's something that Shouldn't have been done Because now if they reverse it Then you're going to have the woke People saying oh so that's acceptable There's no way it's getting reversed Right I'm giving you my my like

And this is look i've been the head Coach you know now my administrations Are high schools right and and i've i've Been brought in for You know yelling at a kid the way that They would you know uh i've been Suspended for yelling at a player the Way that they didn't like Okay and i've seen these kind of things Happen and to me there's and this is These are minor things i'm talking about Like things i've been brought in for Where most people would think this is Crazy this is this is minor right so Um I just know they're not they're not Gonna I i'd be so shocked if they went back on Their decision i mean i would be Flabbergasted if they did hard to walk It back at this point it would be hard To walk back And and it would be refreshing if they Did though if somebody actually said Listen we looked at this we decided that This is unacceptable but this shouldn't I call it a no-win career I call that that that That Word Is a no-win If it comes out of somebody's mouth in a Public setting For anybody that that's the way i look

At it like it is a no-win the person who The person who um Says it it you know i'm talking in a Non-malicious way in this context that He That's going to be a no win for him and That's going to be a no win for anyone Whose death that comes across If they do something that um Like is in the forgiveness realm okay And i just think it's going to be a no One because someone else is going to Bring it all comes down to like who's Going to bring you to task on your job Right like i mean the bottom line with This is so Venables Obviously has to walk that right up to The top right that's the first thing he Has to do because if venables didn't Walk up the top he could that could be His best friend He could if he doesn't walk it up to the Top The next person they're walking up to The top is him right so he's got to walk And and and i call this i would call This the joe paw effect right the Totally different scenario obviously so Much worse i mean i'm not gonna put the Two things So ridiculous to put the two things in Context what one was non-maliciously Done one was obviously a horrific thing

But that's the joe paul effect of not Like Taking the steps forcibly enough in Order and these administrators i I'm not there but my guess is Whoever the board of trustees are has Told these guys any of these things go On With a a coach or a player For any for any reason even if it's Nothing You're better off just parting ways gone And and the difference between the joe Paul situation and now is social media Yeah there's a large fear of You know a populist Opinion Against or for whatever decision you Make if you if you retain him then You're going to have this side of the People saying oh that's acceptable great You guys are a racist if you get rid of Them then you have these people saying Oh i can't believe we just live in a Society where you're canceled so Immediately uh that wasn't the case at Penn state you could You could push things under the rug back In the day but now there's this fear of Hey what if one of the players in that Meeting comes out on social media and Tweets it out you know what if this Comes to light through a player talking To a a fellow student who puts it out on

Social media and it gets picked up by The media the fear Of the the crowd you know with the Pitchforks and the torches Um you know Storming the administration is different Now than it ever was and i will tell you This and i think i said this i don't Know maybe it was on full ride last week Maybe it was on this podcast but So many things in the in the years Prior to social media were swept under The rug and able to be kept quiet now it Just can't be and look at the look at The mixing thing i mean that was like Six seven probably seven years ago Um if that wasn't on video Be handled in a different situation but It was on video and that video went Viral on social media so they had to do Certain things differently than they Normally would have um so social media Changes everything oh yeah look at what Happened to ray rice okay like ray rice You know i have two things that i think You find And they're totally different things These are all different things so i'm Not You know people listen this i'm not Saying that one is like the other but These are instances where Things had to get handled ray rice lost His career and obviously what he was

Doing was off the wall okay Lost his career because it was on social Media and it looks so so bad people have Done worse things Than ray rice or at least as bad okay But if they didn't catch on video and Was hearsay there was a limit to the Amount of punishment That they had and the other the other One i'll bring up which i thought it has Nothing to do with someone doing Anything bad but i thought Uh Where administration Took a stance against someone Um Unfairly was and he ended up winning the Money kevin ollie if you remember when He was a yukon head coach They were you know they wanted to force Him out they were trying to force him Out he was a jim calhoun prodigy won the National championship then for whatever Reason they weren't happy with him And they used these uh ncaa allegations To try to force him out and And and not pay him right so I say this to say In each instance people above the top Because of that whole joe paw effect Have taken these like Any time they think that something's Going in the wrong direction they've Taken these harsh stances and like just

Pushed people out and and honestly Writer Some in kevin ollie's case they were Wrong they didn't want to pay him that Was wrong they didn't pay him he ended Up winning the money back and i was glad When he won that money back but if there Was something they want they didn't like They want they wanted to move him he Didn't want to move on that was a big Big deal about it And um You know each one of these things these Are things that are that are happening But it's the administration it's the Totally Total the they're always going to take The total stance of just like they Wash their hands with everything So let's move to something more fun Which which do you want the edge or the Edgelist or the i love the edge thing i Think it's so great scary or the or the Not scary we could do the not scary next Week if we want to because um Yeah we're getting close so the edge List um you know i've been doing Positional list top 50 lists and all This stuff and the edge list um It's fun because people love that and i Had to differentiate between guys who Rush off the edge and guys who are even Defensive ends who are you know bigger Stronger against the run aren't pass

Rushers or you know obviously be tackled So the next list is dl's non-edge Which are those guys but these are the Guys that come off the edge and and Wreak havoc on the quarterback and will Anderson is easy number one Everybody agree with that and then after That it's just two through 50 is all Scrutinized It's crazy Will anderson Did anyone even question that There wasn't one person who said that um You know and i have nolan smith number Two and a lot of people felt that that Was too high um You know but there wasn't one person That questioned will anderson absolutely And it's the only list i've done where There hasn't been a question at the top Um You know Obviously Bijan robinson trayvon henderson cj Stroud and bryce young and you know wide Receivers There was no question whatsoever even Michael mayer versus brock bauer's a Tight end but this one no question now Nolan smith That's a question you know dallas turner At five Uh he was great in the playoff last year Um you know this is mostly projection uh

Miles murphy being a little bit lower Than most people expected oh john mathis Being in the top ten transfer from tcu To nebraska Lots of discussions uh on all these guys Uh but the the consensus is this is a Really good edge group like a really Good Group and the last few defensive line Classes i think have been pretty solid In college football and it just Continues um you know last year we had Hutchinson Uh you know walker Um He had jermaine johnson he had a bunch Of guys that were potential top 10 picks And i think in this class we've got the Same thing anderson's going to be a top 2-3 pick And then after that we're going to see Where the rest of these guys fit in This should be the All-time top names group I mean uh these names are fantastic chop Robinson It's just an easy one That's not his real name I love him He goes by chop now how about praise is That his name Yes and and so that's awesome the guy Chopper was a guy who committed to Maryland under locksleeve was a big time

Commit for them and then decided to Transfer to penn state there's a lot of Transfers on here um a lot of guys and Then there's you know out west you get a Lot of hyphenated difficult to pronounce Names um It's just That's always the case it seems um There's gonna be a lot of guys that Right now you're gonna look at this list And be like i've never heard of that guy And you're going to hear a lot more uh Especially at kansas state and Washington those aren't like heavy You know promoted programs but they've Got some ballers and some players Especially on the edge um and then There's guys on this list You know the jack sawyers of the world That are going to emerge um people ohio State fans wanted j.t toole milal on This list and he's on my d-line list Because he's 280 pounds so when that List comes out that's going to go crazy Because we're going to go how how'd you Miss You know they're going to read the line They're not going to see non-edge and They're going to say how do you miss Will anderson you're an idiot and i had One more on on twitter say isaiah Foskey's not on this list good job feral Nice nice research And he's obviously right on the list

For being so high on the list and he Said i didn't really feel i had a good Season last year and that's the type of Attitude that i kind of love right Because he's you know he's one of those Wisconsin defensive guys you know he's Just The j.j watt type word nothing's ever Good enough working hard is never Stopping and always excelling to get Better and your last season was a bad Season you gotta you know tj want the Same way you got to do it better this Year So That sort of Humbleness but also some other guys that I that i reached out to or reached out To me They were excited about it because They're getting the praise i mean Ally gay is not one of them who reached Out to me or i talked to but for him to Be so high on this list when he's being Overlooked because bjos de laurie is the One who gets all the attention um That's a guy that i really looked at Hard and i'm like Man He's very very good and no one talks About him because of that other guy You know deal on this list of georgia Way down at 46 or whatever Nope nobody talks about him they talk

About nolan smith and i think nolan Smith has a higher ceiling and he's Going to be a better nfl draft pick but Right now you can make an argument that Beale is a better football player so I love doing these lists man they They're a pain in the ass though i mean They take forever Because The one mistake if you spell a kid's Name wrong or you missed that he Transferred to a school or if you Accidentally put a kid up there who's Injured you know i did the old line list And christian mahogany at boston college Was a great offensive lineman and i knew That he was injured i knew he'd blow out His acl and i knew he was going to miss The whole season but that's something From a national perspective you can miss You know i how would i know that Otherwise if i didn't dig into this and Then if i put him on the list like oh You suck you're so stupid he's out for The year great list Jerk and i'm like one mistake on these Lists man It's never ending you know grief and People just like to pile on so the first Thing people do on this list Is they look for their team's players The second thing they look for are Mistakes And maybe it's one a one b

Um And and if they're satisfied with where Their players are and there's no Mistakes then it's crickets you will not Hear from them whatsoever they will Consume the list and like it But if their player is not ranked where They want or there's a mistake they will Be sure to let you know in 85 different Ways Well if you're an alumni And played at uconn like i did uh you Just know that none of your players are Going to be on the list Except last year yeah the team tackle Is coming out and that's harder for me Because i'm really digging into these Depth charts i'm really digging into You know What role they play and i'm not going to Get it all right Um You know because roles change uh you Know You go from a 4-3 to a 3-4 all of a Sudden your defensive tackle is playing A different technique and he's more of a Pass rusher uh he's not on the edge but He's playing a five straight up Um and that makes him more of an edge Than if he's a three-tech and a 4-3 so All that stuff has to be looked at and Determined and it Sucks um the linebackers will be easier

Because i'm not differentiating between Inside and outside and there were some Olbs that are edge guys that i kept off This list Because you know will anderson play is a Linebacker position but he's an edge Whereas other guys that can rush the Passer i mean you know trenton simpson Is an excellent pass rusher clemson he Kept him at linebacker because he's not A pure edge um and then the dbs i'm just Going to Put the corners and the safeties Together and then i'll be done right and Then i got to start it all over again And tweak the 50 quarterback list Because now we've got quarterback Positions being determined who's going To win taxes lsu texas a m on and on and On michigan so i'm gonna have to redo And tweak that it's just If this paid full time To just do these 50 lists it'd be Awesome because they take so long and It's really Worth a good eight hour day Uh unfortunately it's just for your Social media consumption the people who Follow me uh just so they can yell at me Um and that hasn't paid the bills yet But eventually it will I want them to be able to tell you about One more thing before we go Yeah

My my my two biggest glaring ones go Ahead go ahead Well one i agree with I mean how could you not uh number one Is the most agreeable of all Right If you if you were alive in the 90s and 80s and know What nebraska was and where they are now And obviously their coach was one of the Legends of that time you know he was Late nineties 2000 but um but was he he Was one of the legends from them So The fact that nebraska is struggling to Get there I agree with that i mean There's I want the disagreements though give me Those let me So i i would say that to me I mean the number five Um Number 10 I disagree with um Number eight i disagree with You know why why am i not able to see uh Your oh here we go i don't know there it Is all right there it is um I think 14 should be like two Well see here's the thing you notice Those last three are old you know big East schools Um and people don't remember when

Different reason 2016 was the last time they were scary Who uh penn state you mean uh yeah the 2016 is when they won the big ten uh They should have gone to the playoff but Since then they've been Uh Don't scare anybody now They also have the ability To win a game What i would actually argue with auburn And Penn state is Underachieving So that that's more the word i would use As less that's In this in the same realm as texas Florida state When they hire deion sanders uh which They're probably gonna do at some point Eventually um Then maybe they'll have a chance to be Scary Again I don't know you know what see See what people don't know and you know You know this obviously but people don't Realize bobby bowden made florida state What they are they were nothing before And they struggled jimbo fisher carried It because he was obviously of the same Trade right Um and but he got out because he saw What was happening i mean you can't tell
