Tylen Singleton: Many High School Football – named NUC 5 Star Defensive Back !!!

Tylen Singleton, just finished his Junior Season at Many High School in Many, Louisiana. The 2024 Defensive Back has recently been awarded a 5 star rating by NUC Sports.  Labeled as a Defensive Back this guy could easily transition to a Linebacker at the next level.  He is a GREAT problem to have.  Singleton has the size to play in the box and get off blocks, but can also cover a wide receiver if needed.  

The 6 foot 2’ 200 pounder is one of the BEST all around defensive players in the 2024 class.  The attributes are off the charts.  He can run and has excellent speed for a guy at his size.  Tylen has the ability to combine his speed and strength to create power which results in a violent finish leaving offensive players walking back to the huddle questioning whether or not they would like to see number 2 again.  In coverage, he uses not only his size but speed and quick twitch ability to jam or run with skill players.  Overall, his best attribute may be his ability to Finish with Violence and Authority !!! 

Singleton has been an impact player for Many High School since arriving as a freshman, winning a state title in his first year.  As a sophomore he had 75 tackles 4 for a loss and 1 sack, again resulting in a state title.  The 2022 and most recent season as a junior, State Title number 3 !!!  He is a winner and winning has been a part of his Life, you can expect that to come into play when looking at College Programs.

Tylen also runs Track.  As a sophomore he ran a 22.63 200 meter dash and High Jumped 6 feet 2 inches !!  He currently holds over a 3.0 GPA and wants to study English in College.  The top prospect is being courted by some of college football’s biggest programs. He currently holds over 20 offers from some of the top football programs in the country.  His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. He currently holds offers from some big time schools,  Tennessee, LSU, TCU, Texas A&M, USC, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Florida State, Michigan, and Oregon have all extended formal offers.

Singleton is a big, hard hitting, fast, strong, athletic safety who is always around the ball, and has the big play ability to change a game in a single play.  Sean Taylor like, high praise, he also reminds me of former USC safety Taylor Mays at times.  The 2024 prospect will make his impact no matter what program he plays for.  I would look to see him on the field sooner than later because he has THAT ability to change the momentum of a game!!!
