Tony Credle: Wall High School Football: top 2025 DB takes home MVP hardware at Boardwalk Beasts 7v7 tryout !!!
Tony Credle, a Junior at Wall High School in Wall, New Jersey has recently been rewarded for his football performance. He earned MVP honors from NUC Sports and Boardwalk Beasts 7v7 Football club, at their first workout for the 2024 spring season. He is now being mentioned as one of the area’s top prospects for college football.
Credle, a 2025 Prospect, had a head turning performance at the Boardwalk Beasts 7v7 Tryout. He has been playing football since he was a young kid, and believes much of his success is due to the hard work he put in while growing up.
The 2025 prospect immediately turned heads with his ability to change direction and displayed tremendous athleticism during the agility station portion, as participants went through a variety of drills to display their overall agility ability. He displayed great quickness and tremendous burst in and out of his breaks. He has the natural ability to change direction but also presented tremendous straight away speed created great separation on both sides of the football.
Tony’s natural athleticism was easy to spot as he performed at the highest of levels on both sides of the ball. Playing fast both as a WR and a DB . He was able to get in and out of breaks as a DB and make plays on the ball. Credle showed that no matter what position you put him in, he was able to dominate, basically lining up at any position and Winning. Whether it be on defense as a corner, nickel, or safety but also as a WR in the slot, outside, or at RB catching passes out of the backfield, Credle is a swiss army knife!
In terms of physical ability, Credle at 5-9’ 170 pounds showed off his strength for his size, separated himself from other prospects by dominating at the line of scrimmage. WR’s were struggling to get a release off of his press and jam technique. His quick feet and lateral movement allowed him to control the initial release of his opponents allowing him to win most reps. He showed great speed on both short, intermediate, and long routes. Additionally, his high football IQ allowed him to jump routes before WR’s even got into their breaks.
Overall, Credle stood out as a DB, but don’t sleep on him as a RB/WR as well, he and Navir Gandy another MVP go hand in hand. He showed an ability to catch the ball from any position on offense. He made catches in traffic, and showed great speed separated from defenders. As a returning player to the Boardwalk Beasts, Year 2 looks even brighter than Year 1. This guy and his partner (Navir Gandy) should dominate competition and give opposing WR’s headaches all season !!!
