1 min readThis is one of the great Olympic stories Of all time about perseverance and the Olympic Spirit I'm going to play the Last part of it last 45 seconds of it But it's it's unbelievable it's Inspirational trained with the goal of Swimming 50 m but at the competition he Found out he would be competing in the 100 meter freestyle there was nothing he Could do but jump into the water however After 50 m his energy was nearly Exhausted and he could only swim forward With great difficulty by the last 20 M He was completely exhausted and the Organizing committee was ready to dive In and rescue him fortunately with sheer Willpower Eric reached the Finish Line Setting the record for the slowest time In Olympic history at 1 minute and 52 Seconds when he got out of the water he Expected to be laughed at but to his Surprise the audience erupted in Thunderous Applause and cheers his Spirit of not giving up embodied the Olympic spirit and moved everyone
