You see it with uh you know Gus mazan Where he integrated the wing the spread Wing T into his offens as in orb now you See teams running a lot of wing te Principles in their blocking schemes and You know L Riley does it it's so Interesting to see that talk about the The evolution since you started coaching Uh in football that you really are Seeing in like some of the trends that You're seeing in college football now Yeah I mean I think you hit on the head I mean there's a there's a book actually Called Wishbone wisdom emry Bard um and It talks about how you you tried to give The ball to all your Playmakers and then Make sure the offense isn't uh Predictable and who's going to get the Ball and space to field out right but You know laterally and who's getting There deceptive to it I mean honestly It's it weirdly it's it's directly like The air rate is the same thing you know You're trying to distribute the ball to Different players you're trying to Stretch the field horizontally and Vertically you're trying to get the ball In space to people let them make plays Your best players so like all of this Stuff I think has Merit I mean you know If you want to run you want to run the You know spread Run game do that you Know but like to me I think the real Successful teams really have an identity
And stay true to whatever their their System is or what they believe in you Know I don't think it could be all of it But we kind of tailor it to something And say hey we're gonna have some air Raid pass Concepts we are going to run The quarterback a little bit and you Know we might specialize in this but That's it you know then you then you Then you go to bed with it and and you And you rep it and and really get good At it so doesn't matter what the defense Is doing it's more about your execution Um or trying to pick a perfect play
