Raphael Dunn: The Lawrenceville School Defensive Back continues to push as he is named an NUC 5 Star !!!
Raphael Dunn, a junior at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey, has recently been lauded for his football excellence. He recently earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.
Dunn is originally from Montreal, Canada, and attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up. He started seriously training when he was in high school and started to gain recognition as he developed and learned the Game here in the states.
The big time high school safety has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to shine through as he continued to develop and learn the game. During this time, he proved himself to be a team leader and a reliable asset on the field. He is also usually the go to guy when a big play is needed!
In terms of physical ability, Dunn is a natural athlete. He has quick feet and is fast to the ball, making him a powerful presence in the secondary. Additionally, he is strong and explosive with the ability to make big plays. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.
Dunn is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future.
Off the field, He is a leader both in the locker room and in the community. He is a mentor to younger players and a role model for aspiring football players, especially those from his native country, Canada. He continues to push the sport of football in his home country, recently competing in an international exhibition game.
A sleeper in my eyes, Dunn is what the 2024 defensive back needs to be. Big, Fast, Athletic, with the ability to play in the box and cover, that is today’s defensive back! Look for this kid to only grow and get better the longer he plays this game.
