We've been together for a while and like If we have an overbearing parent like We're not going to I'm not going to say We like set them straight but we also Sort of make it very clear with how it's Going to go and then then it sort of Weeds itself out yep and the greatest The greatest thing I've ever seen in Coaching was we have a parent meeting The first day of of of Camp when the Parents Dro their kids off and our head Coach uh says that I'm not going to have Discussions about playing time Scholarship money or anything football Related I will talk about academics and I will talk about mental health with you It's amazing and it will it will always Be over a phone call if you email me and The email starts with Johnny doesn't Know I'm writing this I'm printing it Out and putting it on the locker room I'm gonna print your email out and put It in the locker room you know so we Don't we honestly like believe it or not We don't get questions about playing Time like I don't mind moms or Dad's Hitting me up about you know so and so's Having some issues like that's why we're There but like correct like to help you Like Aiden like like hey he's struggling A little homesick right now like we just Lost our uncle and you know or whatever Like those are things that absolutely Like I want that Comfort level with my

Players families or whatever you know You want them to see you after a game And be like hey coach how you doing Right not like you know oh that guy like He should be playing my kid more like Come on but I think that's important as Well to have that open communication
