In basketball it's even more relevant Because it's teaching you to adjust on The fly right so okay they take away This cut because they know it's coming Well then just don't cut there cut some Know that when it gets taken away you Got to counter with something else right So you could do that more in basketball Than you probably can in football Because you run out of time a little bit But in basketball and that's what I Tried to say to them yesterday is like You guys are going to learn so much over The next couple weeks and you're going To learn so much about basketball that You never knew because a lot of these Kids they don't learn basketball anymore And what I mean by that is like how to How to play right how to read Situations they know how to DP these Kids are way more skilled than any of us Were back in the day right they got Trainers for everything they can dribble A hundred times between their legs but They don't know how to apply it to a Game situation live play how do you React when a Defender makes an Adjustment so you know my big thing is On like well coach where do I go and What do you mean the defender went here You got to go here like I need you to React and know and not be a robot Because that's what basketball is all About
