Marcus Smith: 2033 WR shows what this game is all about winning Little Man MVP !!!
Marcus Smith, a 2033 from Magic Mountain View School in Las Vegas, Nevada recently attended The All-West Elite Prospect Camp presented by NUC Sports and gave an excellent football performance. He stood out among the student athletes in attendance, being in 3rd grade, he really showcased his abilities and never allowed anything to stand in his way.
Smith, a WR, competed on the highest level he could throughout the day. He ran routes and had solid footwork. He did however injure his hand, but continued to fight through and make the most of what he could do. He never wavered and continued to participate throughout the camp.
Smith displayed a high level of agility. He showcased his ability to change direction during the agility station portion of the workout. Players went through a variety of drills to showcase their overall agility ability. He had great quickness and tremendous lateral movement. He possesses an innate skill and smoothness in his ability to change direction at just a young age.
In terms of physical ability, his footwork and body control may be his best attribute. The class of 2033 WR separated himself from other players coming in wanting to get better with a positive mindset. I credit his active attention and listening skills, which displayed great maturity for a kid his age.
It’s always great to see a young athlete come into a camp with a vision and purpose for why they are doing what they are doing. A huge upside for this young kid was his ability to overcome adversity and still participate at the highest level he could. He will bring a standard that coaches are looking for. I look for this guy to be a big asset to the Program !!!
