Luca Toiello : Butler High School Football : 2025 DL shows off Talent at NUC All NorthEast Elite Prospect Camp !!
Luca Toriello, a junior at Butler High School in Northern New Jersey recently attended an off-season Prospect Camp presented by NUC Sports in which he put on display his talents earning himself the DL MVP award.
Toriello, a 6’1” 225 pound DL had a tremendous day in both drill and agility work. He showcased great power to go along with a tremendous first step off the ball in position specific drills while also putting on display excellent athleticism during the agility portion of the day. The 2025 prospect showed his ability to change direction all the while keeping his pad level where it needed to be. Participants went through a variety of drills to display their overall agility ability as well as speed. He exhibited quickness and excellent footwork throughout the day regardless of station
Luca immediately made his presence known, displaying above average footwork and technique in position specific drills. His feet were smooth and technically sound, with a great first step. Toriello was powerful and had tremendous angle awareness, you can tell he is also a member of the varsity wrestling team.
In terms of physical ability, he used his power and strength to put him in the best spots. You could tell his Football knowledge and IQ are both above average. He has a great grasp of the game itself.
Toriello can use his growth both on and off the field to take him as far as he wants to go. He is on track to have a monster senior season as he mentally and physically matures! Luca has the body type and shape to continue to develop into a big time player for whatever team he plays for at the next level. A very coach-able kid, I see him easing into more of a leadership role in his final high school. He is a true competitor and will improve with every practice and game played.
