Lance Jackson: Pleasant Grove High School Football ‘s Newest NUC 5 Star continues to Prove he is one of the best in the 2025 class !!!
Lance Jackson, a junior at Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana, Texas has recently been recognized for his football excellence. He has earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top college football prospect for the 2025 class.
Jackson is a multi-sport athlete who also plays varsity baseball. Lance has been playing football since he was a young, and attributes much of his success to the overall hard work and time he put into it while growing up. Training was something he started to really take an interest in and enjoy. The intensity of this work has only increased and progressed since entering High School. The recognition started to come more and more as he developed.
The 6-5’ 240 pound Defensive Lineman has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic is what separated him from others. He has incredible natural athletic ability for a Big Man and brings with that an excellent first step. Jackson is a proven team leader and a reliable asset both on and off the field. The moment never seems to be too much for him, usually making the BIG PLAY when it’s needed most.
In terms of physical ability, Lance has quick feet for a kid his size with an exceptional first step. Additionally, his power and explosion off the ball allows for him to win his one of one battles in the trenches. Jackson is a side-line to side-line guy who can chase plays down laterally if needed. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.
The 2025 prospect is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition in the future. Power Five schools such as Alabama, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Duke, Arkansas, Nebraska, Nebraska, Texas, Florida, and TCU.
Off the field, Lance takes an active role as a leader both in the locker room and in the community. He enjoys mentoring younger players and demonstrating what a good role model should be for aspiring football players. He is also involved in a number of community outreach programs, and works hard to ensure a bright future for the communities he serves.
