Lamar Brown: University Lab High School Football: Latest 5 Star OL continues to Impress !!!

Lamar Brown, a sophomore at University Lab High School in Louisiana, has recently been lauded for his football excellence. He recently earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.

Brown has been playing football since he was a young child, and attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up. He started seriously training when he was in high school and started to gain recognition as he developed.

Lamar is a multi sport athlete as well where he participates in Track.  He has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to shine once he entered high school. He has already placed third in the state for discus with a throw of 124-10!  Brown has even clocked an 11.7 100 meter dash which correlates to an impressive 4.72 40 time.  He continues to prove that he is a team leader and a reliable asset on the field. When his team needs a big play, they tend to rely on him to be a factor in those play calls.

In terms of physical ability, Brown, as previously mentioned, is a natural athlete. He has quick feet, with an excellent first step, allowing him to get off the ball faster than his opponents.  Additionally, his power and hand placement is top-notch.  The big time prospect has a constant motor and plays every snap through the whistle.  All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.

The 2026 Max Preps Freshman Second Team All-American is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. University Lab High School can be proud to have him as a student, and is sure to go far in his collegiate career.

Off the field, Brown is a leader both in the locker room and in the community. He and his teammates are mentors to younger players and act as role models for aspiring football players. He is also involved in a number of community outreach programs, and works hard to ensure a bright future for the communities he serves.

I look forward to seeing this guy continue to mature and grow.  Mentally and physically he is a gifted athlete with a multitude of skills and attributes to make him a big time guy on most 2026 boards.  The quickness of his development as an overall football player will only aid him in his recruiting journey and ultimately land him a Power 5 roster spot!
