Ivan Taylor: West Orange High School Football – NUC Sports newest 5 Star talent has WR play in his blood !!!

Ivan Taylor, a junior at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida has recently been recognized for his football excellence. He has earned himself a 5 star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top college football prospect for the 2025 class.

Taylor, has been playing football since he was a young and attributes much of his success to the hard work and time he put in while growing up. His father Ike Taylor is a two time super bowl champ having played for the Steelers in the NFL.  Training was something he started to take an interest in and enjoy.  The intensity of his off the field work has only increased and progressed since entering High School.  The recognition continues to come more and more as he develops his game.

The 6-0’ 175 pound Defensive Back has always been a major contributor to his team, but his athleticism is what separates him from others.  A natural athlete with big time speed, clocked at a 4.5 forty yard dash and a 4.25 shuttle.  Ivan is also a member of the track team where he has posted times of 11.6 in the 100 as just a sophomore.  He has excellent ball skills.  Taylor is a proven team leader and a reliable asset both on and off the field.  The moment never seems to be too Big for him, usually making the BIG PLAY when it’s needed most.

In terms of physical ability, Taylor has quick feet for a kid his size with a huge upside.  Additionally, his power and explosion make him an excellent tackler, who runs the ally.  Ivan is a side-line to side-line guy who can chase plays down laterally when needed.  All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.  The 2025 top prospect as a sophomore was responsible for 65 tackles to go along with 9 PBU’s (Pass Break Ups) and 3 Interceptions.

The 2025 prospect is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition in the future.  Power Five schools such as Miami, Alabama, South Carolina, Michigan, Ole Miss, Florida, Penn State, Notre Dames, USC, and Wisconsin.

Off the field, Taylor takes an active role as a leader both in the locker room and in the community.  He enjoys mentoring younger players and demonstrating what a good role model should be for aspiring football players. He and his teammates are also involved in a number of community outreach programs, and work hard to ensure a bright future for the communities that they serve.
