So you can imagine I wasn't very popular At home at that time as I was always on The road but that's that's where I Really got the bug to uh just to engage And start coaching with uh high school Girls at the varsity level in in the Shore conference for New Jersey which is Undoubtedly the best conference in of Basketball in the state of New Jersey And I coached at Moder day for 12 years After I left there I was uh given the Honor actually of being asked to be the Assistant coach for Don carpel at St John VI so for six years I uh I had the The best of the best jobs I I was kind Of the first person on the bench for Dawn I was the the team psychologist for The girls just trying to pick them up When they're coming off the floor Because they missed a basket you know on In in probably the most competitive Games in in a schedule that that any High school team would have and he' even Taken that ride straight up to the Tournament of Champions victory that we Had um finishing our our unfinished Business at the time of of getting Dawn Her TLC Championship as a coach so um Toward the back end of that I started to Get a little bit of an itch like I Wanted to have my own program again I Wanted to build something
