Dylan Stewart – Friendship Collegiate Academy, Washington D.C. – this Outside Linebacker has earned an NUC 5 Star Rating for the 2024 Class  !!!

Dylan Stewart just finished his Junior Season at Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington D.C. and has recently been lauded for his football excellence. Stewart is one of the top Athletes in the 2024 class.  He has tremendous athleticism enabling him to line up on the edge with his hand on the ground or in a traditional outside linebacker role.  Dylan has recently earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.

The 6.5 ‘ 235 pounder has an excellent first step and quickness off the ball.  The explosiveness he displays with his initial step allows him to get his hands on his opponent and get rid of the potential blocker.  Stewart also has a relentless motor enabling him to chase down offensive players from the backside.  His pursuit is next level, this not only displays his speed but also his desire to make the play.  The best players run through tackles, he plays with a level of toughness that leaves offensive players thinking about it heading back to their huddle.

The top 2024 recruit attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up.  He started seriously training and focusing on football once he entered High School.  Those extra hours training have definitely paid off, as the big time athletic LB is coming off a great 2022 season.  He recorded 16 sacks and helped his team to the Class AA State Championship while also being named an All-State and All-Metro player by the Washington Post.

The top 2024 recruit has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to surface as he developed and evolved as a player on and off the field.  During this time, he proved himself a major asset and a reliable teammate not only during games but in the locker room as well. “He is a guy we can line up at a bunch of positions and count on to make plays!” stated Friendship Head Coach Michael Hunter.  All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.

Stewart is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future.  Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, South Carolina, Michigan, Alabama, Penn State, Colorado, Oregon, and Tennessee are just a few of the programs that have offered formally! 

Athleticism, power, explosiveness, quickness, all of these attributes have helped Dylan get to this point.  However, this top guy still has tremendous room for growth!  Growth can and will come both physically and mentally as he progresses in his college career.   

Already being touted as an NFL prospect the future looks brighter than bright for this guy!  I look for this guy to be a big time player at whatever program he decides to become a part of!
