Deron McLaughlin – Park Ridge High School Football – NUC 4 star OL !!!
Deron McLaughlin, just finished his Junior football season at Park Ridge High School in Park Ridge, New Jersey. McLaughlin took the time in the off season to really show he is a force to be reckoned with. Park Ridge High School plays in the smallest division of high school football in New Jersey, however that hasn’t stopped some big time college football programs from going after this guy. He currently holds over 17 Division 1 offers.
The 6 foot 5’ 270 pound OL is usually the biggest guy on the field during his games. He makes it known that it doesn’t matter who he is competing against, he is going to bring it every single play. He has great get off and hand placement on his punches. The 2024 prospect has great strength and power and can move people from gap to gap. The ultimate attribute is his ability to finish!
Deron is very humble and credits his hard work in the off-season for his success. He is a tremendous teammate, never questioning what he is being asked to do. He has lined up on both sides of the ball at multiple positions and never once asked why. He is the ultimate team guy. He can also Long Snap, something that can get him on the field quicker than most. Deron always plays on his high school basketball team.
The top prospect is being courted by some of college football’s biggest programs. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success at the next level. He currently holds offers from Army, UMass, Monmouth, UPenn, Temple, Lehigh, Lafayette, and Eastern Michigan.
School size may play a role for some but others will see what this kid really is. He has the frame, the work ethic, and the athleticism to make a major impact at the next level. Look for this guy to make an impression that will leave coaches in awe.
