Davian Groce: Lone Star High School Football –  2026 RB earns 5 Star Rating from NUC Sports !!!

Davian Groce, a soon to be junior at Lone Star High School in Texas, has recently been lauded for his football excellence. He has earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect in the 2026 college football class.

Groce has been playing sports since he was a young child, and credits much of his success to the work and dedication he put in while growing up. He started seriously training when he was in high school and started to gain recognition as he developed.  Davian participates in Track as well having put in some really good times as just a freshman.  He has been clocked at a 10.9 in the 100 meter race and helped his team in the 4×100!

Davian has always been a major contributor to his team, no matter what sport, but football started to become his true love.  The work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to shine through during his freshman year. During this time, he showed that he can be a team leader and a reliable asset on the field.  He is often the go-to player when his team is in need of a big play.  Most likely a RB at the next level, he adds a different level of game changing ability by returning kicks and punts!!  As a freshman, he rushed for over 614 yards and 4 touchdowns, while also catching 10 balls for over 158 yards. He really earned the trust of his coaches and teammates, again usually giving him the ball knowing he has the game changing ability.

In terms of physical ability, Groce is a natural athlete. He has quick feet and is next level explosive, making him a powerful presence in the backfield.  Additionally, his power and strength give him top-notch burst!  His football IQ is incredibly high, giving his coaches the ability to line him up wherever they feel will give them the best opportunity to WIN.  All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.

Davian is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country.  His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. Lone Star High School can be proud to have him in their building as a student athlete.

Off the field, Groce is a leader both in the locker room and in the community. He is a mentor to younger students and a role model for aspiring football players. He and his teammates are also involved in a number of community outreach programs, and work hard to ensure a bright future for the communities they serve.

Texas has always been a hotbed for high level high school football talent, especially at the RB position.  Davian is definitely that young man, he will continue to carry that tradition.  The country will have full access to witness his process as he continues to grow and mature.  I look to see this explosive game changer continue to climb the recruiting boards and put himself in an even better position at the next level!Davian
