We ran the option in the spring game and And I slipped but he swears to God he Laid me outle I was trying to cut back On him and my feet went out from Underneath me and he just stands on top Of me he's like Shane that's the first That's the first problem right there run That option you should you should never Be running the option I don't know Why not an option guy not an option guy But As a linebacker with people trying to Like out like like some coach would try To out aete me because I was a good Athlete yeah especially like piss me off Playing will what what' you weigh then Like 2:30 I was like 2:30 yeah yeah Somewhere around there and you play you Played all I thought you played all Positions well I uh my junior I only Played linebacker two years but my Junior year I was I played all three Because I was really the fourth guy most Of the year right I was playing you know Probably about half the game but I was Playing all the positions you know when Guys need to blow and then I started at The end of the year at Sam and then this Next year I was supposed to start at Will and then Camp they moved me to Sam Because they were pissed off at Dexter Martin God rest of the Soul they were Pissed off at Dexter because Dexter was A he was actually a phenomenal football
Player he started from the time he's a Freshman but he he was strong too he was Very strong no reason kind of grown man Strong grown man strong he's probably 40 But uh at good speed and he was uh he Was athletic but he he was um he was not A worker let's put like that I I thought They put you at Sam because you were a Coverage guy you were good in coverage Well no Will's in our defense the will Was more the was okay so I was origin I Was originally supposed to be a will but They were pissed off and we had Shem uh Shem um what I forgot shem's last name Jem Allen Jim Allen Jim Allen who was Who was really I I never got that I knew He was a good athlete I just never got It as far as because I just thought he Was too light he was way too light he Was 195 pounds so they wanted him to Play will so so I thought it was a Mistake Because you would had a 230 at will and Then you would had Dexter who cares if He like I I you know this is my this is How I thought about it I didn't even [ __ ] if Dexter ever practiced like he Was still gonna be ahead of like a lot Of the like he was a senior it was a F50e senior like I was like yeah I but Holtz we were not holtz's guys Shem was Right you know like gucu was behind who Ended up being started next year was Like one you know Shane's good uh really
