Cai Bates – Edgewater High School Football – newest NUC 5 star another BIG TIME defensive back from the state of Florida!!!

Cai Bates, just finished his Junior Season at Edgewater High School in Florida, and has already established himself as one of the top guys in the 2024 class.  It seems like every single year the state of Florida produces high level defensive backs, and Cai is just the next in Line! ! All eyes will be on this guy who has just received a 5 Star rating from NUC Sports. 

Bates is the next great Division 1 guy to come out of Florida.  He is a three sport athlete who carries a 3.8 GPA.  Cai’s attitude is what separates him from others, a hard worker, he is one of the first to arrive and last to leave!  Bates also plays for the FLAWDA Boys from the @247 7v7 club !

The 6.1’ 180 pound DB is considered to be one of 2024’s top players.  Cai has tremendous technique and possesses an extremely high Football IQ.  He has great speed with quick feet to establish himself at the line of scrimmage.  He stays in phase with receivers and has a great knack for playing the hands.  If there is one thing that separates good from great it’s the ability to finish and finish on a consistent basis.  Bates is a finisher, he runs his feet on contact and continues through the whistle on every play.

The top prospect is being courted by some of college football’s biggest programs.  His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success at the next level. He currently holds offers from some big time schools, Alabama, LSU, Kentucky, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Florida have all formally offered.

Bates could be the next great one, his aggressiveness and play making ability will allow him to make an impact immediately.  Cai is an athlete, he can play multiple positions but looks to be a corner at the next level.  No matter what position this guy plays he will make an immediate impact!
