I think the biggest adjustment which I Kind of knew as a student athlete like Going through it myself is like you're These kids parents like like you're Their home away from home right now so I Think for me it's like it's different in High school practice is over they're Going home to their parents right in College they're going back to their dorm Rooms and you know you're still kind of Like Mom on campus right so you know You're Trusting um as a parent you're trusting The staff and the people on the campus To take care of your kid while while You're away so I had to like readjust That in my head the other day because When the kid went down with an ankle Injury we had to call the ambulance I Was like all right well let me call your Mom so she can meet you there and I'm Like wait a minute mom's three and a Half hours away like I'm mom right now You know um you know which is cool I've Always kind of taken that approach Anyways when I coach of like hey I'm a I'm a mentor I'm your coach I'm you know I'm the face here you can count on me For different things that you need
