Austin Crosby: Grapevine Faith Christian School Football: 2026 QB earns MVP at NUC’s North Texas Prospect Camp !!!
Austin Crosby, a 2026 QB at Grapevine Faith Christian School in Grapevine, Texas recently attended NUC’s North Texas Prospect Showcase and turned in an excellent football performance. He stood out among other student athletes in attendance, and really showcased his skills on a multitude of levels.
Crosby had a big day, dominating his competition. The soon to be junior quarterback put on display his arm talent and strength, firing passing to WRs in tight widows. At 5.11” 165 lbs, he utilized his solid frame to add velocity and speed on his throws, allowing him to fit footballs into tough, tight windows. Austin ran a 5.03 in the 40 yard dash and a 4.65 shuttle.
Austin presented himself as a natural leader. He took control of his group and motivated other athletes in attendance. He displayed great football IQ and knowledge, talking with coaches and other players about alignments, adjustments, with a high level of attention to detail.
In terms of physical ability, he had excellent footwork as a QB, with great body posture allowing him to keep his body pointed downfield at his targets. Crosby displayed excellent eye discipline, making his reads and moving from target to target keeping his eyes where they needed to be in order to deliver a catchable football. Austin also separated himself from other players coming in with an “all business” type of attitude and mindset.
Crosby brings that big time competitive edge to the game. A guy who communicates and relates to his teammates on a high level. He sets a standard that college coaches are looking for. His ability to understand X’s and O’s and lead his team will only continue to benefit him as he grows. I look for this guy to be a big asset to whatever Program he plays for!
