Coaches are essentially in the portal Like you you know like they're looking Hey can I can I win here for several Years and uh move on to the next gig um Because now they know that there's you Know before they pretended they were Going to stay there at least forever um But now they don't even have to pretend Because their players aren't pretending To stay there forever so it's like uh I'm going to go here and succeed and Then I'll figure it out after a couple Years where What my status is going forward and if I'm doing well you know I I'll stay or Go and if I'm not doing well they just Get rid of me anyway it's more prevalent I want to say now um I don't know if it Has something to do with you know kind Of the time squeeze that head coaches And coaches in general are are put under Now um it used to be hey you got you Know four to five years now it's more I Want to say like you know if they're not Some you know change within two to three Years are gone they're out the door We're willing to just you know buy it Out and kind of go from there I mean There's a lot of really good college Head coaches getting paid a lot of money To sit home right um you know your Jimbo Fishers of the world you're kind of not Coaching for a couple years until they Kind of figure it out and then you have
Some guys you know that literally jump Right back into it you know the very Next year so I think you're seeing a a Lot of those Trends across College football now
