Alvin Henderson: Elba High School Football – NUC 5 Star RB breaks Alabama High School Rushing Record !!!
Alvin Henderson, a junior at Elba High School in Elba, Alabama has recently been recognized for his football play. He has earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.
Alvin grew up playing football and attributes a lot of his success to the hard work and effort he put in while growing up. He started to see how training and doing the extra things could help his play on the field. The focus on training at such a young age led him to being better prepared when he entered high school. Alvin continues to train and use it to help him gain more recognition as he continues to develop.
Henderson has always been a major contributor to his team. Freshman year, he rushed for 1,115 yards and 24 TD’s, as a sophomore 2,636 yards and 47 TD’s, and most recently the Junior broke state records averaging 32.2 yards a carry going for 3,523 yards and 68 TD’s. He also plays varsity basketball and baseball at Elba High School and participates and plays for GAS CREW 7 on 7 club.! He is a tremendous leader and has proven himself to be a reliable asset on the field.
In terms of physical ability, the 2025 RB has incredible burst and vision, making cuts and has a tremendous grasp of where defenders are on the field. A player with natural speed and ability to pull away in the open field. He can change a game with every touch, his balance and pad level allow him to break tackles. Additionally, he possesses great hands and the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, Henderson is a 3 down back! His football IQ is incredibly high allowing him to grasp where he needs to be. Each of these attributes bring more and more eyes on the top 2025 prospect.
Alvin is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. He has narrowed his list down to a top 10 which consist of Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Penn State, Florida State, Arkansas, Oregon, Miami, Tennessee, and USC.
Off the field, Alvin works in the community. He is a mentor to younger student athletes and a role model for aspiring football players. He is involved in a number of community outreach programs, and works hard to ensure a bright future for the communities he continues to serve.
