Yasin Willis – St. Joseph Regional High School Football – 2024 4 Star NUC RB – NJ Tough!!
Yasin Willis, a junior at St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, NJ, has recently been lauded for his football excellence. He has earned a four-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football. Willis has been tabbed by some as the BEST 2024 NJ High School football player in the state. He looks to continue that success this 2023 season.
He attributes much of his success to the hard work, dedication, and time he put in while growing up. He started seriously training when he was in high school and started to gain recognition as he developed. Willis looks at the Program (St. Joseph Regional) he is at and credits a lot of his accolades to the team atmosphere. The winning tradition and commitment to putting in the work with your teammates, is a big part of his success.
Willis has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to shine through. During this time, he matured and became not just a better player but a better teammate.
In terms of physical ability, Yasin is a natural athlete. He has quick feet and is a great leaper, making him a powerful presence in any offense. Additionally, his power and vision are top-notch, sprinkle an above average football IQ, not bad. He has the rare ability to run over you or run by you. All of these attributes helped him earn his four-star rating from NUC Sports.
He is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. Home State Rutgers, as well as West Virginia, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Penn State, Pitt, and South Carolina have all offered the 6.1’ 220 pound Junior.
Off the field, Willis looks to be a positive role model to the youth around him. Growing up, having a positive mentor to look up to was something that was important to him. Now, he is hoping he can be that to the younger guys around him.
