Walter Matthews from Hiram High School in Hiram, Georgia has recently been lauded for his football excellence. He recently earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.
Matthews has all the attributes of a top tier talent, much of his success comes from the hard work and dedication he puts in. He started seriously training at the start of high school and started to gain recognition as he developed.
Matthews has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to shine through during his junior year. During this time, he proved himself to be a team leader and a reliable asset on the field. He was often the go-to player when his team was in need of a big play.
In terms of physical ability, Matthews is an off the charts natural athlete. He stands at 6.7 250 pounds. He has quick feet and is a great leaper, making him a powerful presence anywhere on the field.

Off the field, Mathews is a leader both in the locker room and in the community. He is a mentor to younger players and a role model for aspiring football players. He also gets involved with the local community, helping with clothing drives, and speaking to the youth.
Matthews is also a presence on the hardwood, he starts for the Hiram High School Basketball Team. The Small/Power forwad is a gritty and tough player in the paint. Walter’s feet are what is most impressive at 6.7 250 pounds.
