Ryan Pellum – Millikan High School, Long Beach, California – this GameBreaker has earned an NUC 5 Star Rating for the 2024 Class  !!!

Ryan Pellum just finished his Junior Season at Millikan High School in California and has recently been lauded for his football excellence. Pellum is one of the top Athletes in the 2024 class.  His athleticism is off the charts, at 5-11 170 pounder has phenomenal quickness and speed off the ball.  He plays bigger than his frame, bringing an extra level of toughness.  Ryan could easily play either side of the ball at the next level, but has expressed a desire to play WR in college.  The multi-sport athlete has been participating on his varsity track team since he was a freshman, where he runs the 100 meter race. He has recently earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.

Pellum attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up.  He started seriously training with his brother Romeo Pellum who played at Washington State and Hampton College and just so happens to be the Head Coach at Millikan High School.  The 2024 WR really started to dial it when he entered Millikan.  Those extra hours training have definitely paid off, as the big time athlete is coming off a great 2022 season.  He played both sides of the football accounting for 52 catches for over 1,000 yards and 10 TDS, averaging over 19 yards a catch on offense and 27 tackles on defense.

The top 2024 recruit has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to surface as he developed and evolved as a player on and off the field.  During this time, he proved himself a major asset and a reliable teammate not only during games but in the locker room as well. He is a gamebreaker that can alter a game in a blink.  Ryan is always a touch away from a game changing TD which will allow him to get on the field sooner than later. 

In terms of physical ability, speed is excellent, hands are soft and reliable, there is also a smoothness to him.  He has great feet with a powerful first step, allowing him to explode off the ball and get into his routes faster. Additionally, he is powerful and explosive, most times leaving defenders behind. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.

Pellum is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future.  Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, UCLA, LSU, Tennessee, Penn State, Texas, Oregon, and Georgia have all extended offers! 

Athleticism is either a bonus or a hindrance, in this case it’s a huge bonus.  The power and explosiveness is already next level and will only get better when he gets into a college weight program.  His ability to run fast, get in and out of breaks, catch the ball consistently, and have the ability to change a game with one touch puts this big time prospect in a position to play early.  I would look for this guy’s name to be in lights at a college Blue Blood very shortly!
