Philip Folmar, a senior at The Delbarton School in Northern New Jersey has recently been lauded for his football excellence. He received a 3-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as one of the top high school football players for the 2025 class.

Folmar has been around athletics and attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up. He started to take off-season training to another level, when he entered high school and immediately started to see the gains and immediately started to receive recognition.

Phil has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and natural athleticism are really what jumps out on tape. He is a proven team leader and a reliable asset on and off the field. The 2025 prospect is often the go-to player when his team is in need of a big play.

In terms of physical ability, Folmar is a natural athlete. He has quick feet and has great body control, making him a problem for opposing defenses. Additionally, his explosiveness, strength and power are already on an above average scale. The final attribute that separates him from others is his football IQ.  The ability to read defenses and make adjustments on the fly puts this 3-star talent on the top of most college recruiting boards. All of these attributes helped him earn his 3-star rating from NUC Sports.

The 6’2” 185 lb ATH is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. The Delbarton School continues to roll out big time talent year after year.  The Green Wave is not only regarded as a top Football school but also holds some of the highest academic standards in the state.

Off the field, Folmar is a leader both in the locker room and in the community. He is a mentor to younger players and a role model for aspiring other student athletes. He and his teammates are also involved in a number of community outreach programs, and work hard to ensure a bright future for the surrounding communities.
