Kasai Currie: Sierra Canyon School Football : 2027 DL shows off Talent at NUC All-West Elite Prospect Camp !!!

Kasi Currie, a freshman at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California recently attended an early off-season showcase presented by NUC Sports in which he put on display his talents earning himself a MVP award.

Currie, a 6.6” 285 pound DL had a tremendous day in both drills and competition periods.  He displayed great power and handwork, along with tremendous get off.  The 2027 product displayed his athleticism during the agility portion of the day.  He showcased the ability to change direction all the while keeping his agility at a high level.  Participants went through a variety of drills to display their overall agility ability as well as speed.  He exhibited quickness and excellent footwork throughout the agility station period of the workout.

Kasi immediately made his presence known with great footwork and technique in position specific drills.  His feet were smooth and technically sound, with a great first step.  Currie was powerful and had tremendous hand placement. He displayed great field awareness and leverage while competing.

In terms of physical ability, he used his power and strength to put him in the best spots.  You could tell his Football knowledge and IQ is above average and he takes coaching.  He has a great grasp of the game itself.

Currie can use his growth both on and off the field to take him as far as he wants to go.  As he mentally and physically matures, he has the body type and shape to develop into a big time player.  Kasi is around high level players on the regular, and I see no issue easing into that leadership role with the others around him.  He is a true competitor and will improve with every practice and game played.  Skys the Limit!
