Jett Washington: Bishop Gorman High School Football – Big Time Athlete earns 5 Star Rating from NUC Sports !!!
Jett Washington, a current sophomore at Bishop Gorman High School Football in Las Vegas, Nevada has recently been lauded for his football excellence. He earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top college football prospect in the 2026 class.
Washington has been playing sports since he was a young kid, and attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up. He started participating in both football and basketball and eventually started to see great results from training once he entered high school and hasn’t stopped since. A multi-sport athlete, Jett is also a varsity participant in basketball. He really opened eyes with his overall athleticism playing mostly defense up until this point, yet is projected for the most part as a WR at the next level. The 2026 prospect has really started to gain recognition as he continues to develop.
Jett has always been a major contributor to his team no matter what sport, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability has really started to shine through on the football field. The competitive nature isn’t a surprise, Jett is the nephew of one of the greatest Basketball Players of all time in Kobe Bryant. During this time, he has proven himself to be a team leader and a reliable asset not only on but off the field. He is often one of the go-to players when his team is in need of a big play.
In terms of physical ability, Washington as previously mentioned is a natural athlete. He has quick feet and is a great leaper, making him a powerful presence all over the field. Additionally, he has a phenomenal frame at 6’5” 200 lbs and above average strength making him a matchup nightmare for any opponent. Jett has an incredibly high football IQ which allows him to play numerous positions on both sides of the ball. Each of these attributes have helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.
Washington is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success as he continues to mature and develop. Bishop Gorman can be proud to have as a student athlete!
Off the field, Jett is a mentor to younger student athletes and a role model for aspiring football players. He and teammates are also involved in a number of community outreach programs, and they work hard to ensure a bright future for the communities that he and his teammates serve.
Washington has the potential to be the next great one to come out of Bishop Gorman High. The biggest question moving forward is what position will he play at the next level. Whether it be as a WR on offense or as a DB on defense I expect this 2026 prospect to continue the tradition of Bishop Gorman players at the next level. We can all sit back and continue to watch, as he continues to grow and mature!
