Drew Miller – Mediapolis, Iowa – The Lone Specialist earns NUC 5 Star Rating for the 2024 Class  !!!

Drew Miller just finished his Junior Season at Mediapolis High School in Mediapolis, Iowa and has recently been lauded for his football excellence. Miller is a specialist, meaning he is a kicker and punter, among other positions he plays for his high school team.  Miller is being recruited as a punter at the next level.  He has recently earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.

Miller attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up.  He started seriously training when he entered high school.  The training has definitely paid off, as the big time punter is coming off a big 2022 season.  Drew averaged 48 yards a punt while drilling 51-55 kickoffs for touchbacks!!!

The top 2024 recruit has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to surface as he developed and evolved as a player on and off the field.  During this time, he proved himself a major asset and a reliable teammate not only during games but in the locker room as well. He is a quick 6-2’ 195 pound specimen that delivers major power upon contact with the ball.  He has tremendous length and athleticism which allows him to drive through and create tremendous hang time.   

In terms of physical ability, Miller’s size is excellent.  He has quick feet and a very fast  first step, making him powerful. Additionally, he is strong and explosive, striking the ball exactly where it needs to be. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.

Miller doesn’t only contribute on the football field, but in other varsity sports as well.  He is a member of both the boys basketball and soccer teams.  He also maintains very high grades, not something that is easy to do while playing numerous sports, it’s a credit to not only his maturity but his love for competition!

Williams is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future.  Georgia, Iowa State, Michigan, Army, Air Force, N.C. State, and Texas all have offers on the table 

An offer for a specialist only is something of a rarity, but when a player of Miller’s caliber comes along, you jump on it.  The two things that really stand out most about this kid are, his desire to compete and his dedication to his craft, all of this while maintaining great grades!  Whatever program lands this guy, look for an immediate impact!
