Akylin Dear : Quitman High School Football .. NUC’s newest 5 Star is out to Prove he’s the Best RB in the Country !!!
Akylin Dear is currently a Junior at Quitman High School in Quitman, Mississippi and has just been rewarded for his football excellence. He recently earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for the 2025 college football class.
Akylin firmly believes that most of his success can be attributed to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up. He started seriously training in middle school and continues to get after it more as his high school career continues. An impactful player offensively, he brings a high level talent, and a leadership mentality both on and off the field. Dear is usually the first one there and the last to leave!
The success is not only on the football field, Dear also participates in track for the varsity team. Akylin has always been a major contributor to his team no matter what he was doing, he has the ability to separate himself, regardless of the sport. He has tremendous speed and athleticism allowing him to make plays others wouldn’t or couldn’t. He has phenomenal vision and explosion. The 2025 Prospect always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Additionally, he has excellent hands out of the backfield, giving him more opportunities to make plays.
The 2025 running back plays bigger than his 6-1’ 200 pound frame and uses his power to benefit him. He continues to prove that he is a reliable asset on the field. A big time prospect who can be counted on as a go-to player when his team is in need of a big play.
In terms of physical ability, we already mentioned natural athletic ability. The junior continues to put on good weight as his body physically matures all while maintaining great speed and quickness. His football IQ is incredibly high, allowing him to read defenses and find the weaknesses of his opponents. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.
Dear is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. Ole Miss, Florida State, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Colorado, South Carolina, and Miami are just a few of the offers on the table.
Akylin, still takes the time to embrace the surrounding community. He and his teammates are mentors to the youth and embrace being positive role models for the younger aspiring football players. Dear is also involved in a number of community outreach programs, and works hard to ensure a bright future for the communities that surround him and his school.has
