This video here we're gonna talk about Middle linebacker reads and how Important middle linebacker reads are Which are slightly different than the Knee outside linebacker reads in the 3/4 Or the traditional salmon will Linebacker reads in the fourth race so The middle linebacker based off his Linemen is usually shaded one way or the Other in the center the inside for the Guard or in the gap on one side or the Other what's really interesting about Their reads is they have the unique read Of what we call a triangle center guard On both sides Okay center guard through to the Full-back Or lone back in the offense so what Makes this unique is based off of their Alignment will dictate their triangle Read so Bom I like to say the strong Side chin to a strong side over the Center okay with a guard read to my side I'm reading that Center guard triangle Okay to the back and that Center guard Triangle and specifically the thing that I always like to say is you could always Get the true read from a guard so a down Block a zone block a pole the guard is Always going to give you those those Reads and it's an ax or a pass Protection but the key is to try to read The uncovered guy so if the center is Uncovered for you that could be the
Easiest read through to the guard to the Fullback if the guard is uncovered or You have a clear vision of the guard Through to the back that gives you to Read and the important thing on those Reads is that it's critical that you Have a triangular vision so you're Seeing through that guard or that Center From a triangle standpoint through to The back so you're not locked in on the Guard but you have to train yourself to Learn to read by feeling the guard Center all the way through to the Full-back and that's something that is Trained and you have to wrap it over and Over again but it's important because You have to be able to feel down block And move over the top of it see a poll File That pulled through to the back you have To be able to feel his own block and to Be able to get up on it and then there Are some other you know base block and Another things passed pro to be able to Reap but it's important to understand That triangle
