So they actually did a study in it was publishedÂ
in the international Society of Sports Nutrition  They studied uh bench press and the athletes thatÂ
consumed chocolate milk post-workout uh benched  More than the athletes that consumed Gatorade andÂ
I think obviously a lot has to do with the protein  Um and then that three to1 carb to protein ratioÂ
and then the minerals all in that one uh drink if  You will so I really don't think sports drinksÂ
are necessary I really think everybody should  Try out what works well for you on a practiceÂ
day never try new things on a game day um but  Think yeah yeah over sports drinksÂ
are overhyped and often unnecessary
