You know he was a corporate guy yeah so Randy didn't get what he wanted they Raised the academic standards he Couldn't get his recruits and that was The main that was really the main reason He he ended up leaving because he got he He kept getting he was and he admitted It when I interviewed him on the podcast He was almost gonna go to Syracuse in ' 06 I think um that was the one time he Considered like seriously Le And he kept constantly getting pay Raises and extensions and they kept them There and he he was like at one time I Believe the highest paid coach at Yukon He made more than Calhoun he made more Than Gino W um yeah and then Marilyn Came in and like doubled or tripled his Salary he was like getting 4 million a Year I think four or five million a year At Maryland get a check but that's H but I mean I thought all I thought was the Money he just always he always wanted to Be the coach of head coach of Maryland Yeah he said it was his dream job
