The Buffalo Bills assistant trainer, Denny Kellington, is being praised for his rapid response when safety Damar Hamlin experienced cardiac arrest and fell to the ground during Monday night's game.

Head trainer Nate Breschi and the whole medical team practice emergency situations like this, but they are never present to observe it. Coach Sean McDermott spoke highly of Kellington's strength and courage in a press conference Thursday, saying that it is nothing short of amazing that he stepped up and took charge when needed.

Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins shared a tweet honoring Kellington, who gave CPR and chest compressions to revive Hamlin. Dawkins thanked the doctors and medical staff for their assistance as well.
