Micah Ford, Toms River North, NJ Player of the Year

Toms River North Football is proud to have Micah Ford as its quarterback for the 2022 season. Ford, a junior, has proven to be a dynamic offensive threat for the Mariners, as he has amassed over 3,000 combined yards of offense between rushing and passing. The impressive stats don’t stop there, as Ford has 28 rushing touchdowns and 13 passing touchdowns throughout his high school career. The athletic prowess of Ford is also evident in his abilities on defense, as he has been a huge contributor to the team’s success in the playoffs. 

Ford’s ability to make plays on both sides of the ball have earned him the recognition of NJ.com Football Player of the Year. He has also been voted as the Week 6 Shore Conference Football Player of the Week and is sure to receive more Power 5 offers as his high school career continues. 

In addition to his tremendous football skills, Ford is also an inspirational leader on and off the field. He is the captain of the Toms River North Warriors Inspirational Flag Football Team, and he is a role model for the younger players in the program. As Ford continues to lead the Mariners to success, there is no doubt that his career will continue to be followed closely by the Toms River North Football community.
