Hylton Stubbs: Jacksonville Mandarin High School Football – NUC names 2025 DB 5 Star Talent !!!
Hylton Stubbs, a junior at Jacksonville Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida has recently been recognized for his football excellence. He has earned himself a 5 star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top college football prospect for the 2025 class.
Hylton, who sometimes goes by Drake, has been playing football since he was a young, and attributes much of his success to the overall hard work and time he put into it while growing up. Training was something he started to really take an interest in and enjoy. The intensity of his off the field work has only increased and progressed since entering High School. He also plays for Raw 7on7 Club. The recognition started to come more and more as he developed.
The 6-2’ 190 pound Defensive Back has always been a major contributor to his team, but his athleticism is what separated him from others. He has incredible natural athletic ability for a Big Man and brings with that an excellent first step. Hylton is a proven team leader and a reliable asset both on and off the field. The moment never seems to be too large for him, usually making the BIG PLAY when it’s needed most.
In terms of physical ability, Stubbs has quick feet for a kid his size with exceptional ball skills. Additionally, his power and explosion make him an excellent tackler, who runs the ally. Hylton is a side-line to side-line guy who can chase plays down laterally when needed. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.
The 2025 top prospect spent his freshman and sophomore season at Oakleaf High School where he recorded 84 tackles to go along with 2 Interceptions one of which he returned for a Touchdown as sophomore.
The 2025 prospect is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition in the future. Power Five schools such as Florida State, Miami, Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and LSU.
Off the field, Stubbs takes an active role as a leader both in the locker room and in the community. He enjoys mentoring younger players and demonstrating what a good role model should be for aspiring football players. He and his teammates are also involved in a number of community outreach programs, and works hard to ensure a bright future for the communities he serves.
