Zach Labarca: St. John Vianney High School Football: 2026 QB earns 3 Stars from NUC Sports !!!
Zach Labarca, a 2026 QB at St. John Vianney High School in Holmdel, New Jersey was recently named a 3 Star football prospect for the 2026 class. He has really jumped on the scene after leaving Donovan Catholic following his sophomore season. The maturity and growth in just a few short months has been above what was expected.
Labarca has improved with each snap and is now starting to see the fruits of that hard work and dedication put in during the off-season. His maturation on and off the field have put him in an excellent position to play at the next level.
Zach presents himself as a natural leader, as the son of a Coach, he brings with him a phenomenal understanding of the game itself. All coaches are looking for a coach on the field especially at the QB position. He takes control of the huddle and his team when needed and not only pushes them but motivates as well. The 2026 prospect is no stranger to this role as he has always been “that guy” from the time he was in middle school.
Labarca displays great football IQ and knowledge, constantly talking with coaches and other players about alignments, adjustments, and executes at a high level with an attention to detail. A natural athlete he has the ability to use his feet as well.
In terms of physical ability, he has great footwork as a QB, with great body posture allowing him to keep his body pointed downfield at his targets. Zach displays excellent eye discipline, making his reads and moving from target to target keeping his eyes where they needed to be in order to deliver a catchable football.
Labarca brings that big-time competitive edge to the game. A guy who communicates and relates to his teammates on a high level, with high expectations for himself. He sets a standard that college coaches are looking for. His ability to understand X’s and O’s and lead his team will only continue to benefit him as he grows. I look for this guy to be a big asset to whatever Program he chooses!!!
