Willy Love: Eastside High School Football New 4 Star is BIG and Fast !!!.
Willy Love is a junior at Eastside High School in Camden, NJ. He has recently been lauded for his football excellence. He recently earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.
Love is a 6-2’ 200 pound corner from Eastside High School in New Jersey. Willy has always been an impactful player to his team, but his work ethic and natural athletic ability really began to shine through this year. During this season, he proved himself to be a reliable asset on the field. He was often the go-to player when his team was in need of a big play. He also proved to his teammates he could be counted on to lead by example.
In terms of physical ability, Love is a natural athlete, he also starts on the school’s varsity basketball team. He has quick feet and speed, making him an impactful presence in the defensive backfield. Impactful, yes in more ways than just making plays. This kid brings the BOOM, and by BOOM I mean he runs through offensive players. He has great strength and power and he sure uses it to his advantage. He is a very instinctual player, with a great Football IQ.. The corner uses his explosiveness to explode whether trying to make a tackle or chasing down the Football. Versatility is something college coaches are always looking for and Willy has that. I could possibly predict him to be an Outside Linebacker or a Safety at the next level. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.
Willy is currently being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. The class of 2024 defensive back plays 7v7 for NLG in NJ. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. Eastside High School in Camden, NJ used to be the old Woodrow Wilson High School. The name change may have happened but the caliber of player being produced sure hasn’t. Eastside can be proud to have Love as a student, he will be sure to go far in his collegiate career.
Miami, Georgia, Rutgers, Ole Miss., West Virginia, Nebraska, Penn State, Oregon, and Texas AnM have all been in contact with the 2024 DB. They are just some of the offers on the table for the hard hitter from NJ. Visits aren’t set in stone but Love has already visited home state Rutgers.
Off the field, Love is a leader both in the locker room and in the community. He does what he can to be the example the younger players need. He often allows his actions to do the main teaching for him. The team as a whole does a lot to help out the city around them. .
