Will Reese:  Bishop Verot High School Football- 2027 LB named NUC All-American Game MVP !!!

Will Reese, is a member of the Bishop Verot High School football team located in Fort Myers, Florida. The 2027 LB recently competed in the NUC All-American Game in Savannah, Georgia and was Named MVP as one of the best overall players at the event.  Reese, a 2027 prospect, just completed his freshman season at Bishop Verot High School and is looking to continue his playing career after high school at the collegiate level.

The 5-11 200 pound LB showed off his talent throughout the week.  He played on both sides of the ball lining up defensively as a LB both inside and outside as well as offensively as an H Back.  He played with great physicality, finishing tackles and exploding through ball carriers and hammering blocks to open holes for the run game.  Will displayed great instincts and a phenomenal football IQ diagnosing plays before they were even executed.  He showcased his ability to play multiple positions and make his presence felt at each.  Reese showed teammates as well as coached a strong desire to compete and get better, an attribute that separates players at the higher levels.

What was your favorite part of playing in the NUC All-American Game?

“My teammates and coaches, each of them made it FUN!”

How do you feel participating in the NUC All-American Game will help you in your future football endeavors? 

 “It opened my eyes to see what I needed to get better at, there were some of the best players from all over the country in this game and playing against them showed me my weaknesses and the skills I need to get better at in order to be the best player I can be!”

Why should younger players like yourself play in the NUC All-American Game?

“You have all to gain and nothing to lose, the exposure is going to help but it really opened my eyes to see how good players around the country really are”

The NUC All-American Game is hosted annually over winter break for most High Schools.  The game is made up of student athletes from all over the country who practice together with coaches and players that are gathered from across the nation. It allows players the opportunity to go and compete against some of the top talent across the nation while gaining more exposure on a national level.
